Q-Frame

Drawing on inspiration from the traditional Inuit Qamutik sled and the growing utility of kite propelled sport we developed a means for artists to travel further into the landscape and reconnect traditional sources of inspiration. The Qamutik has survived for centuries and has outperformed all modern equivalents.

Freelabs are held each summer at Dalhousie School of Architecture with the opportunity for students to take on research based design build projects.
